📖 Read Lines Mode
Read each line aloud clearly. Speech recognition compares your speech to the expected text and provides feedback on accuracy.
- Press "Record" or spacebar to start
- Speak clearly and at normal pace
- Review feedback for pronunciation tips
🔤 Fill In The Blanks Mode
Complete missing words in the text by speaking them aloud. Choose difficulty to control which types of words are removed.
- Easy: Articles, prepositions (the, in, of)
- Medium: Nouns, adjectives (house, beautiful)
- Hard: Key words, names (important terms)
🎭 Recite from Prompt Mode
Use minimal prompt words to recite complete lines from memory. Perfect for testing your memorization.
- View the prompt words shown
- Recite the complete line from memory
- Hints available if you get stuck
🎯 Challenge Mode
Test your mastery by reciting lines without any visual reference. The ultimate test of memorization with no hints or prompts shown.
- Click "🎯 Start Challenge" to begin
- Recite each line from memory with no text displayed
- Speech recognition verifies your accuracy
- Score displayed after each attempt
- Use navigation buttons to move between lines
- Press "⏹️ Stop Challenge" to exit and view full text again
Tip: Master the other modes first before attempting Challenge Mode for best results.
🚀 Auto Progression Mode
Enable automatic progression to practice hands-free. The system will automatically start recording, detect when you finish speaking, and advance when you score above the progression threshold.
- Click the Auto Progress icon (⏩) to enable the mode
- Click the settings gear (⚙️) to adjust detection language and threshold
- Press Record button to begin auto progression
- System detects silence and stops recording automatically
- Advances to next line when score meets threshold
- Repeats current line on low scores for improvement

- Use keyboard shortcuts: Spacebar (record), Arrow keys (navigate)
- Practice in quiet environment for best speech recognition
- Start with Read Lines, progress to Fill Blanks, then Recite, and finally Challenge Mode
- Review feedback to improve pronunciation and accuracy
- Use the settings gear (⚙️) on Listen Mode and Auto Progress to customize
- Challenge Mode is the ultimate test - only attempt when fully prepared
